P.V.C Pipes and Fittings

There are three types of plastic or fiber pipes.
  • PVC pipes
  • UPVC pipes
  • CPVC pipes
CPVC Pipes and fittings are stronger and more flexible. We (the Expert Team of Roy Hardware) recommend you use CPVC pipes and fittings for the conceal (pipe connection under the concrete or cement plaster) purpose.

CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) plumbing fittings are commonly used in residential and commercial plumbing systems due to their durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of installation.

Here is a list of some common CPVC plumbing fittings:

  • CPVC Coupling: Connects two pipes of the same size in a straight line.
  • CPVC Elbow: Used to change the direction of the pipe, typically in 45 or 90-degree angles.
  • CPVC Tee: Joins three pipes at a T-junction, allowing fluid to flow in two directions.
  • CPVC Reducing Tee: Similar to a regular tee but with different-sized outlets for connecting pipes of varying diameters.
  • CPVC Union: Provides a detachable joint in the plumbing system, allowing for easy maintenance or repair.
  • CPVC End Cap: Seals off the end of a CPVC pipe, preventing the flow of water.
  • CPVC Adapter: Connects CPVC pipe to other types of pipes or fittings, often threaded on one end.
  • CPVC Male and Female Adapters: Used to transition from CPVC pipe to a threaded connection.
  • CPVC Ball Valve: A valve with a ball mechanism that can be rotated to control the flow of water.
  • CPVC Check Valve: Allows water to flow in one direction only, preventing backflow.
  • CPVC Reducer: Connects pipes of different diameters, reducing the pipe size.
  • CPVC Cross: Similar to a tee but with a fourth outlet, allowing for the connection of four pipes.
  • CPVC Transition Fittings: Adapters or couplings that allow for the transition from CPVC to other types of piping materials.
  • CPVC P-Trap: Used in drain systems to prevent sewer gas from entering the building.
  • CPVC Pipe Clamps and Supports: Used to secure CPVC pipes to walls or ceilings.
